Camera Parking (also known as ANPR – Automatic Number Plate Recognition) allows your vehicle to be automatically detected and charged for parking without manual action.
This guide walks you through the complete setup process.
✅ Before you activate Camera Parking, you must have:
1. A registered account
2. A valid payment method (credit card) added to your account
3. At least one vehicle registered in your account
Step 1 - Add a payment method
Camera Parking requires automatic payment, so you must first add a debit/credit card.
1. Log in to your portal account
2. Go to Payment in the main menu
3. Click “Add card” if you don’t already have a payment method
4. Fill in your credit card details:
Cardholder name
Card number
Expiry month and year
CVV/CVC code
5. Click “Save card” to confirm
6. Your card is now saved and added as your payment method
Step 2 - Add your vehicle
If you haven't added your vehicle yet, you'll need to register it first.
1. Go to Vehicles in the main menu on the left
2. Click “Add vehicle”
3. Enter your vehicle details:
Registration plate number (e.g., AB12345)
Country code (defaults to Norway)
Vehicle name (optional, e.g., "My EV", "Work Car")
4. Configure vehicle settings:
Default vehicle: Check this if it’s your primary vehicle
Automatic payment: Check this to enable Camera Parking
5. Click “Add vehicle” to save
⚠️ Important: The Automatic payment setting is what activates Camera Parking. This allows the system to automatically charge your saved payment method when your vehicle is detected by cameras.
Step 3: Enable Camera Parking on Existing Vehicles
If you already have vehicles registered, you can enable camera parking on them:
1. Go to Vehicles in the left-hand menu
2. Find your vehicle in the list
3. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) on your vehicle card
4. Select “Enable automatic payment” from the menu
👉 Note: You can only enable automatic payment if you have a valid payment method saved.
🔄 Once Camera Parking is activated, this happens automatically:
1. Automatic detection: When you park in a camera-monitored area, your license plate is scanned
2. Vehicle recognition: The system matches your plate with your registered vehicle
3. Automatic payment: Your saved payment method is automatically charged for parking
4. Overview: You can always view history and payments in the portal
❗ Troubleshooting – Camera Parking not working?
1. Check your payment method: The card must be valid and not expired
2. Verify license plate: Must match your vehicle’s plate exactly
3. Confirm automatic payment is enabled: Look for the blue “Automatic payment” badge on your vehicle
